WATR was founded by Sarah MacNeill , a creative director whose work is rooted in both structure and storytelling.

Sarah began her career with an undergraduate degree in architecture, spending years immersed in environments where form, function, and restraint mattered. That training continues to shape her approach today – bringing clarity, intention, and balance to every brand story.

Over time, her practice evolved naturally into graphic design, photography, and brand development. Fifteen years ago, she launched Carte Studio, later known as Perfecto Creative, where she partnered with clients to build thoughtful brand identities, print media, websites, brand photography, and digital artwork — including the complete visual system for a game app.

Her clients have ranged from independent creatives and small business owners to established real estate development firms. Many return year after year, or refer others, drawn to her collaborative process, meticulous attention to detail, and deep commitment to delivering work that feels both beautiful and meaningful.

Beyond client work, she is a published children’s book author and illustrator, traditionally published, and previously wrote a design column for a lifestyle magazine — experiences that further inform her belief in clarity, narrative, and design that connects.

At its core, WATR reflects her philosophy: thoughtful design, built with care, and guided by a genuine desire to help clients bring their vision to life.
